Core values of caring for, and helping others in need are very important to me and have been a driving force in becoming a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I believe that trust and compassion can have an impact on our patients in such a manner, that it can ultimately empower, and give incentive to achieve better health.

My goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care for women of all ages, while providing the incite and support needed to simply function and navigate through life as a woman.

Melissa Becwar is a Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

Melissa completed her nursing masters at the University of Cincinnati in 2019. Prior to opening Captivate Medical Spa, Melissa was an RN in the Birth Care Center at UnityPoint Health, Cedar Rapids for over 11 years. Her aesthetic career began shortly after graduation.

She is passionate about both cosmetics and women's health.

Melissa loves hockey, baseball, sitting near a campfire, fishing and paddle boarding on the lake. She has two children and married her husband, Brian in 2006.
